How to take Firefox to the Statue of Liberty ? Winning plan takes a Mac Book !

Posted by orione on October 24, 2007

Recently Mozilla has announced a contest open to the residents of US, Canada , China and UK . The plan is called Operation FireFox . The basic idea is to sketch a plan on how to execute a mission involving the logistic of taking a 3.2 feet Fathead Sticker of Firefox to a prominent location to hang for publicity. I was very disappointed that the plan is not open for Indians for devising a plan in India. The winning prizes are a Mac Book pro and Nintendo WII that make the plan exciting enough. The details of the contest suggest that the entire logistics related to the plan need to be outlined with details on team members so on with even the time line for the execution of the plan. GPS coordinates, plans, maps and sketches …. guess what even videos of a mockup run too are welcome ! I know a lot of friends of mine who are sane enough to roll out an exciting plan for this mission at the knowledge Foundation. The major factor that sucks is why Mozilla has not opened it for India. ????? Guys digg about this or blog about it for mozilla to take notice of it. Good Day !
